The company Lensli has received the RHP certificate for its mulch. With the RHP quality mark, it is now demonstrably plant-safe.
Based on research and inspections executed by ECAS, the product complies with the requirements as determined in the Product Certification Scheme of the RHP quality mark. There are now 2 companies, Lensli and Klasmann-Deilmann, with RHP certified mulch for professional horticulture in their product line. By applying mulch a dry top layer is created on which weeds, moss and algae cannot germinate.
RHP certified mulch and any additives must meet the requirements for plant safety, based on the RHP certification. For this reason, not just any mulch may be used under the RHP quality mark. Standards and requirements have been drawn up by RHP, whereby the origin, production and any necessary sanitation process of the mulch are monitored. This offers the most security as possible that the mulch can be applied safely, without any risks to the culture.
