Martin Uittenbroek says goodbye as member of the Supervisory Board

8 december 2022

After two terms of 4 years, Martin Uittenbroek, managing director of Vreugdenhil Young Plants, will step down as a member of the Supervisory Board of RHP. During the meeting at 8 December he said goodbye.

RHP is very grateful to Martin Uittenbroek for his contributions to the Supervisory Board over the past 8 years. “Martin uniquely represented the users of growing media. He sometimes gave a surprising dimension to the discussion," says Marco Zevenhoven, operational director RHP. “I enjoyed doing it,” Uittenbroek says. Uittenbroek didn’t want a farewell gift for himself; RHP suggested making a donation to charity. Because Uittenbroek's wife has had the chronic disease multiple sclerosis (MS) for 35 years, the MS Research foundation was chosen. Uittenbroek: “I love a gift in the form of a donation. And so does my wife Marjan.”

MS Research Foundation

The MS Research Foundation is the organisation that finances and stimulates scientific research into the cause and solution of multiple sclerosis. For a world without MS. If you also want to donate to the MS Research Foundation, you can do this at: www.msresearch.nl

Internal supervising authority

The Supervisory Board is an internal supervising authority of the foundation RHP. Chairman is Bernard Koeckhoven. The other members of the Supervisory Board of RHP are: Henri van Beerendock (Jiffy Products International BV) and Jaco Dijkshoorn (BVB Substrates). There is still one vacancy.
