Auditors of quality marks RHP and RAG updated during harmonisation day

20 march 2026

On 19 March, auditors, trainee auditors and reviewers visited RHP for the annual harmonisation day for the RHP and RAG quality marks. The meeting focused on knowledge exchange, uniform interpretation of the certification requirements and the discussion of current developments within both product certification schemes. The day provided room for substantive and interactive dialogue aimed at ensuring consistency in audits for the quality marks.

Current developments and requirements

During the morning programme, the updated product certification schemes for RAG and RHP were explained in detail. The most relevant changes in the requirements and recent developments within the growing media sector were discussed. The inspectors raised good questions about the various modules, which led to valuable and substantive discussions.

Feedback and practical audit points

A regular element of the harmonisation day is the exchange of practical experiences from the inspectors during their audits. Feedback on last year’s points of attention offered useful insights. Experiences from visits to Asia were also shared, along with additional feedback and suggestions from the auditors.

Closing workshop on raw materials

The day concluded with an interactive workshop on raw materials in the greenhouse. This workshop was received positively. Participants indicated that the session offered practical guidance and expressed their preference to include this workshop again in next year’s programme. This day provided auditors with up‑to‑date knowledge that can be directly applied in their auditing work.
